His first works weren't as abstract as his later. As he got more sick, his paintings became odd and hard to understand.

This painting is one of the most recognizable paintings and Van Gho really used a lot of dark cool colors which shows his sadness and strange views.

Some people say he had tinnitus so bad it helped drive him crazy. The more crazy he got, the more abstract and colorful his pieces were.

I like this painting because it is unlike gohs other art works . While his others were more gloomy and painted with darker colors, this painting is bright and abstract . I love the choice of colors and the fact that you can see the brushstrokes. It adds a texture to the night sky(: it's is a beautiful painting

His first pieces were very realist and detailed. His later pieces were a lot more abstract. Also his later pieces use a lot more bright colors than his earlier pieces

Looking at this painting, the first thing my eyes are drawn too is the moon. A use of darkness and light is shown, as well as many interesting shapes, such as the spiral shown in the middle of painting. It is beautiful and I can see why it would be his most famous painting ever.

This painting is very popular. When I have to describe and talk about a painting I pick this one. It is very beautiful and abstract and very detail. Many dark cool colors of blues and frets and black are used

This doesn't really his sorrow like some of his other paintings. It doesn't give you a bad feeling like the things he was going through. This is definitely his most famous art piece and it has been recreated a number of times.

Van gogh's paintings at first were not as abstract as his paintings in the future. His paintings became more and more abstract as time went on and started having brighter colors. They started to be too hard to understand.

when you look at van gogh's paintings, you can see how his work changes from leaning towards realism to very impressionistic. there are less details, and they are brighter. his works are like an insight into his mind as he grows and changes as a person.

Van Gogh's overall style changed drastically from realistic and dark to upbeat, bright colors, and serene. He went kinda crazy and his style change shows that. Starry Night, his most popular artwork, was made later in his life and is very distorted

Van gogh's artworks became increasingly more abstract as he started to suffer more and more from his illness. As he started to go more and more insane, his artworks reflected this.

Van Gogh's works began appearing realistic and dark but as his life went on his works began resembling impressionism with blurred lines and brighter colors used. Some speculate his style changed due to a crippling mental disorder.

Van Gogh's works began very dark and somber, reflecting his inner struggle in living up to the expectations his parents had for his still born older brother. They then changed to very impressionistic and light, continuing up until his suicide.

Van Gogh's paintings started off really dark and gloomy and eventually were filled with bright colors. Starry Night is a classical example of one of his brighter paintings. His style changed when he was diagnosed with a mental disorder.

I like Van Gogh's paintings and you can see them evolving throughout his career. Doctors say that Van Gogh was suffering from many illnesses during this time and that was the cause for the change.

Van Gogh was never really appreciated in his time, having only sold one painting. His early years were sad and dark. Later, while plagued by poor health, his painting became more colorful, bright, and abstract.

Van Gogh's work changed from boring subjects and dull colors to vibrant colors and intriguing subjects. Van Gogh's life was less than fortunate and this is clear in his early gloomy work, he was later diagnosed with a mental illness which most likely triggered the change

I really like this painting by Gogh. This painting shows just how drastically his styled changed from realistic and depressing to joyful with bright colors. As he started to go crazy his painting style changed as you can tell from paintings such as this. Starry Night is by far his most popular artwork.
