This painting is 460 x 880 cm (15 x 29 feet). However there are many reproductions of the painting that are much smaller

Definitely all of his work is really sweet. I like how each side of the painting is kinda separated by a "V" right next to Jesus.

da vinci did a great job creating depth in the painting by using linear perspective and probably the use of a vanishing point :D

I really like this painting by da Vinci. He used a perfect example of linear perspective & I like how the emphasis is on Jesus. Your eye automatically goes to Jesus because of the use of linear perspective.

This painting is a great example of linear perspective. Jesus is in the center of the painting and each side is close to being symmetrical

This is a great example of linear perspective. Currently this fresco is deteriorating. Restoring it will be a difficult process.

This painting is a visual interpretation of an event that took place in all four of the Gospels. It took Leonardo around 3 years to make this; he started in 1495 and finished in 1498.

The painting represents the scene of The Last Supper of Jesus with his disciples, as it is told in the Gospel of John.

Currently The Last Supper is in the Convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie, Milan. This painting is huge and is falling apart because Leonardo da Vinci decided to try tempura on dry plaster instead of on wet plaster (which was the typical method of fresco paintings.)

I think that this painting is a great example of linear perspective that has great detail for that time period. I just wish that I could see the painting how it was before it deteriorated.

Leonardo da Vinci demonstrates the use of linear perspective in The Last Supper by drawing the viewers eye toward Jesus in the center. He also uses groups of three apostles and three windows to represent the Holy Trinity. Its a shame the painting has deteriorated.

I think this painting shows Da Vinci's talent and great attention to detail very well. The use of linear perspective shows how advanced of a painter Da Vinci was.

I think it's really cool how davinci used perfect linear perspective and that the vanishing point is right behind Jesus. I also find it really interesting how the pieces of bread create a musical piece.

The use of the vanishing points by da Vinci is pretty unique in this painting. I would never be able to tell that this was a perspective drawing without close examination. Most perspective drawings are dramatically noticed. This is very subtule which makes it unique. I like this painting because of the colors used in it. He knows how to emphasize important objects by his use of color & contrast.
